WattCompare ("we", "our", "us") operates wattcompare.net, an independent energy comparison website. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Automatically: Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare may process technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL under their own privacy policies.

Calculator inputs: The electricity and solar calculators run locally in your browser. Values entered into them are not submitted to WattCompare.

Email contact: The contact page uses a mailto: form and link, which open your configured email application. Any details you choose to send are delivered by email to our contact mailbox; the website does not use a hosted form processor.

3. How Contact and Calculator Data Are Handled

Calculator inputs stay in your browser and are used only to produce the result shown on the page.

If you email us, we use the information in your message to read and respond to your inquiry. WattCompare does not operate a solar quote request form and does not forward contact details to solar installers.

4. Google AdSense & Cookies

We display advertisements via Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites (interest-based advertising).

You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info.

Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Advertising Privacy Policy.

5. CMP Consent (GDPR)
